PIMBA ANNOUNCES FALL 2012 SHOW SCHEDULE!
PIMBA is excited to release its fall 2012 schedule, including nine regular-season shows leading up to Championships at Penn Trafford High School. PIMBA is particularly pleased to announce that its first show in the greater Philadelphia area will be held on September 29 at North Penn High School. Directors in eastern PA who might be interested in participating are encouraged to contact NPHS band director Michael Britcher for more information.

PIMBA CROWNS 2011 CHAMPIONS
PIMBA is proud to congratulate ALL19 bands that participated in its 2011 Championships under most unusual circumstances. The stadium field was covered with over 3" of snow after a surprise morning snowstorm and was not able to be cleared in time, even with the show pushed back two hours. The event was moved to the parking lot that serves as Norwin's practice field and the show went on in temperatures that never reached 40 degrees. Bravo to all for the patience and support displayed under far, far less than ideal circumstances, including amazing efforts by the Norwin Band Aides and Event Chair Vicky McClain, the applause for each band by the large audience, the flexibility of every band director and staff member, and, especially, the courage and perseverance demonstrated by EACH student that endured a long, cold day to perform, giving their very best in the final PIMBA show of the 2011 season. PERCUSSION CAMP TO BE HELD IN BRADFORD
The first annual Throwdown marching percussion camp will be held at the University of Pittsburgh, Bradford Campus from July 18-20. For additional information, see the camp's flyer.
