2007 PIMBA SEASON CONCLUDES WITH TERRIFIC
CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW!
Congratulations to EACH of the 24 member bands that participated
in the 2007 PIMBA Championships held on Saturday, October 27, at Elizabeth Forward
High School! A beautiful fall day, only marred by some unexpected rainfall mid-evening,
enabled the bands to perform at their best for an enthusiastic audience that strongly
cheered each band's efforts. The bands were evaluated by a panel of seven judges
from the PA Federation of Contest Judges (PFCJ) who crowned three new class champions.
Two class champions (AAAA and National) repeated from 2006.

PIMBA IS NOW INCORPORATED
We are pleased to announce that PIMBA can now be formally known
as PIMBA, Inc. This move in legal status reflects PIMBA's ongoing growth as an
organization with a sophisticated infrastructure and a defined system of policies
and procedures that combine to function efficiently within the overriding philosophical
foundation of striving to best meet the educational needs of its participating
bands and student members.
The goals of PIMBA remain: to promote participation in marching
band field events; to promote the art form of competitive marching band based
on fundamental principles of music education; and, to promote cooperation and
respect among all bands, directors, staffs, student members, parents, parent organizations,
adjudicators and all others affiliated with the organization.
Having just concluded its twelfth season, PIMBA is a marching
band circuit structured, administrated, implemented and monitored by its member
Directors for the direct educational benefit of the students involved in its twenty-nine
member Bands.
